Wild at Heart

What is Wild at Heart aka “Man Camp”?
Wild at Heart is a Christian based ministry based on the principles in the book titled “Wild at Heart – Discovering the secret of a man’s soul” by John Eldredge.  Deep in every man’s heart he longs for a battle to fight, an adventure to live and a beauty to rescue. This is how he bears the likeness and image of God.

The Wild at Heart weekend explores the masculine spirit; to unleash every boy’s desire to be a hero, to be powerful and dangerous. Every man wants to know if he “has what it takes”, only a question a father can answer. The Wild at Heart weekend was started in 2005 by five Christian men from Kelowna, BC.

Although Wild at Heart 2005 was comprised of only 5 men, it has grown over the past few years and last years attendance was fifty-five. This year we would like to extend the invitation to all men to come and explore what many have described as life changing.  Wild at heart offers men a chance to grow in themselves. From the beginning, the weekend has been made successful by men serving men. This year, it is no exception. We already have several volunteers that will participate in the weekend while also playing a very integral part in planning, set-up, food serving and activity leadership.

The weekend offers something for everyone. All meals are supplied and all activities are included with the registration fee. Any special supplies, gear and materials for events are supplied by the Wild at Heart Team.
